Synopsis

Two groups demonstrate a shared appreciation for fine ceramics, each selecting remarkably similar Denby pots from an antique shop in the charming coastal town of Topsham, Devon. Yet, will they realize comparable returns when the pieces are offered for sale at auction in Exeter? Meanwhile, at Saltram House, just outside Plymouth, presenter Tim Wonnacott uncovers an elaborate encrier—an inkstand, he notes—and declares it to be "as rare as a hen's tooth."
