Synopsis

The artist’s block had finally yielded. Miwa’s father, freed from his creative paralysis, now looked to Handa with anticipation. Handa was ready to write. Yet, the path to prose was strewn with delightful distractions: girls clamoring for penmanship lessons, a sun-drenched day at the beach with the children, and the ever-tempting pickled daikon of Naru’s grandfather.
