Synopsis

Hesitantly, Handa presented his calligraphy, a work imbued with a quiet apprehension. He found himself drawn into the labor of building a stone wall, and later, tasked with escorting the young women to the summer festival. Simultaneously, Kawafuji secured the exhibition hall director's agreement to allow Handa's return to Tokyo. But how would he say goodbye to the generous islanders who had shared so much with him?
