A small number of detractors exist, and those who criticize tend to be politically motivated; individuals prone to finding political significance in every aspect will likely dislike virtually anything. However, for most viewers, it constitutes a genuinely excellent narrative, executed with considerable skill in both direction and storytelling. The pacing is deliberate, shifting perspectives frequently enough to offer insight into various characters while maintaining attention on the central figures. Ultimately, the unveiling of the real-life individuals depicted by the cast at the conclusion of the series makes investing the time entirely worthwhile.
