Yuu Yuutani is a model first-year student. Yet, to capture the attention of her crush, Atori Mizutori, Yuu resolves to transform herself into the most formidable delinquent imaginable.

Driven by a desire to capture Atori's attention, Yuu intends to leverage her natural, somewhat rebellious charm during a planned visit to a kindergarten as part of the Student Council's duties.

Rura, a school idol, mistook Yuu for a fan and offered a handshake. Yuu, however, was lost in thought, her mind occupied with Atori, and couldn't even bring herself to acknowledge Rura's attractiveness.

Yuu is observing Atori once more, a quiet shadow in her wake. On a whiteboard, she discovers something she interprets as a sacred message left behind by Atori.

Kiyoraka, the head library assistant, presents a picture of flawless scholarship. Yet, beneath this composed exterior lies a surprising, concealed interest in Yuu.

A shadow settled over Yuu; the Golden Week holiday felt incomplete without Atori's presence. The disappointment deepened when she learned Atori would be spending the time at an amusement park, accompanied by someone else.

Remaining at school after the bell, ostensibly for "birdwatching," or perhaps more accurately to capture candid shots of Atori, Yuu unexpectedly meets Mizuka.

Yuu devised a plan to persuade Atori to enroll in the forest camp. Soon after, she found herself unexpectedly separated from Atori and Suzu, finding herself on a different bus.

The day for the forest camp had arrived, yet Yuu found herself stranded at the roadside rest area. A further disappointment came with the news that Atori was also left behind. With a shared glance of dismay, the two of them began to conside…

Seeking quiet for their studies, the girls made their way to the library. A sudden flash of lightning illuminated the room, followed by an abrupt darkness as the school lost power.

Deep in the mountains, while camping, Rura was disturbed by an unsettling sound. Investigating, she discovered Yuu and Mizuka involved in something enigmatic.

With each day that passed, Yuu’s breath grew easier, her lungs strengthening steadily. Then came the news that Atori would be studying abroad, in Chicago.
