Synopsis

During a hostage scenario alongside Detective Vega, Detective Michael Britten finds himself unexpectedly partnering with Dr. Lee. The effort to de-escalate Gabriel Wyath, a patient who had threatened to detonate a mental institution, leaves Britten vulnerable, and the repercussions extend into his other life. Separately, Rex introduces his girlfriend, Emma, to his father, while Bird expresses concern over Britten's distracted state, a consequence of his sleeplessness.
