For anyone seeking a perfect example of how a comic can be adapted into animation, Attack On Titan—along with its films—is hard to beat. The artwork, animation quality, and narrative stay true to what came before, which really enhances the depth of the world. The basic idea of enormous giants who eat people seems far-fetched at first, but as you get further into the story, it turns out to be a complex and detailed plot. I found everything about this series completely absorbing, including the final episode, which felt like the ideal way to wrap things up. I suggest stopping here if you don't want any surprises, and giving this excellent series a try, beginning with the complete first season.
