Synopsis

Alex, determined to quell burgeoning dissent against the London Docklands project, finds himself increasingly embroiled in the city's undercurrents. When a suspected member of the London Liberation Front is apprehended, he appeals to his mother, a lawyer, for assistance in securing a defense. Amidst this, the world celebrates the impending nuptials of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, with the privileged enjoying lavish revelry at the Blitz Club.
