Synopsis

The eighth Independent Unit reached the castle on the outskirts of the valley, only to be met with orders for another relocation. The Ingelmian advance demanded a new position, one where they would cover the withdrawal of allied troops. Commander Samonji formulated a plan to breach the formidable "Gates of No Retreat." He would deploy a network of explosives along the canyon walls, while his unit held the line, granting Ardanan forces the time needed to evacuate.
