Synopsis

Samonji and Suzushiro are summoned back to headquarters while the remainder of the 8th Unit departs for Wishpe on leave – a destination that happens to be Okui’s hometown. Their respite is brief; a mechanized Ingelmian force soon begins its advance toward the town. With the unit's regular command staff absent and the next senior non-commissioned officer incapacitated by illness, responsibility for the 8th Unit falls to Okui.
