Synopsis

Mrs. Slocombe believes she has at last secured her affections—a bouzouki player from a local Greek restaurant. To economize, the staff are organizing a reception at the store, and her American uncle intends to gift the happy couple a house. But just as they prepare to depart for the church, the best man arrives with unsettling news, necessitating Mr. Tebbs’s assumption of a Greek vicar's robes and poor Mr. Humphries taking on the guise of the groom.
