Synopsis

A wave of illness swept through the department, and Mr. Lucas, seizing an opportunity, decided to feign sickness in order to take the day off. His scheme proved unfortunate; instead of escaping his duties, he found himself reassigned to the Ladies' Counter as a form of isolation.
