Synopsis

Payday at Grace Brothers arrived, and the staff quickly discovered how little their wages would cover. A chance for extra income presented itself when a customer misplaced a diamond and offered a hundred-pound reward. Overcome by avarice – all except Mr. Grainger – the employees began plotting against one another. The situation grew more complicated when Mr. Mash inadvertently sabotaged the search, tearing a jeweled dress and scattering countless glittering "diamonds" throughout the department.
