A series of agent fatalities, attributable to Sterling’s negligence, has left ISIS struggling to meet government diversity quotas. Enter Conway Stern, an agent of formidable presence – often described as “onyx” – who wears a Star of David. Malory lauded him as “a diversity double whammy,” but his skills as a secret agent were not the sole reason for his recruitment.
