Synopsis

In restored color, a film depicts Adolf Hitler's visit to the Austrian village of his youth, capturing the poignant farewells exchanged between him and the locals. Simultaneously, at Paris's Gare de l’Est train station, French soldiers bid adieu to their families and loved ones, alongside tearful civilians. Meanwhile, Hitler presses forward with his European ambitions, launching an invasion of Holland and Belgium.
