Synopsis

The season five finale returns the host to Beirut, a city often called “The Paris of the Middle East.” Its nightlife is renowned, its people strikingly beautiful, and its cuisine legendary. Throughout his journey, Bourdain connects with freestyle artist Double A The Preecherman in the Mar Mikhael district, shares a traditional Lebanese meal with writer, publisher, and activist Joumana Haddad, and joins CNN correspondent Nick Paton Walsh in a visit to a Syrian community in southern Beirut.
