Tony Bourdain’s affection for New York has been a constant, but lately a weariness has settled upon him regarding the city's transformation into a mere tourist spectacle. Driven by a desire to rediscover its essence, he embarks on a quest, aided by Andrew Zimmern, a familiar yellow taxi, and others encountered along the way, to unearth the heart and soul of the city he’s always held dear.
