Among the four science fiction series I’ve seen, this one appears to be the strongest. My experience with “The Expanse” was negative; I found it to be excessively hyped and dull. "Nightflyers" didn't impress me either, as it proved to be another tedious program. Then there was "Lost in Space," which seemed geared toward a younger audience. This show surpasses them all. The characters are well-developed, with some intriguing figures like the AI named “William.” The performances are solid and the narrative is engaging. It moves at a measured pace initially, but gradually improves, culminating in a compelling and thought-provoking final episode of the first season. I am eager to see what comes next. If you appreciate films such as "Annihilation" and "The Arrival," this series might appeal to you.
