Synopsis

Confined to the sterile environment of an animal testing laboratory, rats named Mike and Phil find themselves entangled in a love triangle with an imaginary companion, a predicament that subtly exposes the nature of their confinement. Meanwhile, a pair of fleas, perched upon a monkey's back, share aspirations of playing basketball and contemplate the meaning of existence. And somewhere, an algae ponders its own being.
