Synopsis

Under the careful hand of the scribe Amennakht, the royal tombs enjoyed a renewed artistic flourish, a veritable renaissance of craftsmanship. But this prosperity was fleeting. Under his son, the scribe Harshire, a terrible unraveling began—a plundering orchestrated not by outsiders, but by those entrusted with the tombs' protection: the very artisans who had labored to create them.
