Synopsis

Karl Pilkington, a man not easily swayed by adventure, finds himself in Peru. He is immediately dismayed by the lack of suitable facilities in the Amazon rainforest and proves himself a disappointing hunter to a local tribe. Undeterred, the Mancunian equips himself with supplemental oxygen and embarks on a strenuous eight-hour hike to Machu Picchu, the ancient citadel of the Incas, seeking a glimpse of its famed ruins.
