The finalists stood poised, ready to deliver their final performances. Both Adam Lambert and Kris Allen would each sing three songs: a familiar piece from the competition, a selection curated by Simon Fuller, and a brand new single, co-written with Kara DioGuardi – a song destined to be their first.
