Synopsis

The final twelve contestants on *American Idol* poured their hearts into their performances, each striving to capture the hearts of America and secure the coveted title. Tonight, one finalist will be eliminated based on the fewest votes received. Joining the competition, Katharine McPhee will also be performing live.
