Synopsis

The Top 9 finalists poured their hearts into their performances, each striving to capture the nation's favor. They sang with passion, hoping to win over America. Contestants were grouped in sets of three, one of which would face elimination. Tonight's results would determine who would continue in the competition and who would leave. The contestant with the fewest votes would be eliminated. Adding to the night's entertainment, Kenny Rogers would also perform.
