Synopsis

The twelve finalists compete for the American Idol crown in a special two-hour live performance. Tonight’s theme celebrates the music of Stevie Wonder, as the contestants pour their hearts into their songs, striving to win over America's vote and advance to the next round. Performing tonight are Katharine McPhee, Kellie Pickler, Lisa Tucker, Mandisa, Melissa McGhee, Paris Bennett, Ace Young, Bucky Covington, Chris Daughtry, Elliott Yamin, Kevin Covais, and Taylor Hicks.
