Synopsis

Gary Shawkey, a man who presented himself as both a con artist and a motivational speaker, found himself desperately short of funds for his elaborate schemes – and he was prepared to resort to violence to obtain them. Meanwhile, a physician profited from the overprescription of dangerous drug combinations targeting addicts, persisting in her practice even as reports surfaced concerning the deaths of those under her care.
