Synopsis

As the nation struggled to recover from the deaths of Robert Kennedy and Martin Luther King, and as protests against the Vietnam War swelled, the Democratic Party convened its convention in Chicago. Yippie and anti-war demonstrators resolved to make their voices heard, while Mayor Daley was equally resolute in his efforts to silence them. A conflict of political ideals would unfold in the closed chambers of power, on the convention floor, and in the city's streets.
