Synopsis

In 1881, a company of twenty-five men, under the command of Adolphus Greely, embarked from Newfoundland for Lady Franklin Bay in the high Arctic. Their objective was to gather extensive scientific data from a region of the globe long considered a "sheer blank" on the map.
