Synopsis

In the summer of 1868, paleontologist Othniel Charles Marsh took passage on a Union Pacific train for a leisurely journey through the burgeoning American West. While other travelers admired the expansive vistas, Marsh soon understood he was traversing a landscape unlike any other – the most significant repository of dinosaur fossils the world had ever known.
