Synopsis

As the United Nations deliberated on methods to govern atomic energy, the United States Navy made preparations for two highly publicized nuclear detonations. Hundreds of cameras were dispatched to Bikini Atoll for a major propaganda film. The inhabitants of Bikini had no voice in the decision to transform their peaceful island into a testing ground. Four decades later, their homeland remained uninhabitable due to persistent contamination.
