Synopsis

The chime of the New Year echoed through the shop, but for Jake, the festive sound was immediately followed by a sinking feeling. A careless phrase, a moment’s lapse in concentration – and he’d done it. He’d cursed the place. Now, the weight of bad luck settled upon the shop like a heavy cloak, and Jake knew he had to find a way to lift it.
