Synopsis

Detective Kennex and Dorian are called to investigate the swift, inexplicable deaths of two children who had undergone genetic enhancement – children known as "chrome." Evidence suggests a fatal dose of an exquisitely engineered drug is responsible. As the investigation progresses, a curious link emerges with a recent drowning, sending the case down an unforeseen path. Concurrently, Kennex is haunted by painful memories of his own past and seeks solace with the recollectionist.
