Synopsis

Nicholas Engbloom arrived at Cage & Fish seeking John’s assistance with a troubling murder case. Melanie West, who lives with Tourette's syndrome, had inadvertently struck and killed her boyfriend; she insisted she’d done so deliberately, driven by a lifelong desire to avoid further humiliation. John persuaded her to reveal the truth, and together they secured a favorable outcome in the case. While navigating the complexities of the West matter, Nicholas became entangled in a divorce proceeding.
