Synopsis

A shadow of concern crossed James's face as he broached the subject of the practice’s finances with Siegfried, but his worries seemed to vanish into the air. Siegfried remained unmoved. Elsewhere, Herriot resolved to seek additional income by working as a veterinary practitioner at the Hensfield dog track. Meanwhile, Tristan made a call on Mrs. Ainsley, whose pet parrot, George, possessed a decidedly aggressive temperament.
