Synopsis

When Lady Hulton’s cat fell ill, Siegfried, with characteristic enthusiasm, set about modernizing his practice to better serve such discerning clientele. Yet, Lady Hulton consistently thwarted his efforts. James found himself grappling with the woes of Vernon Harker, an amiable but indolent farmer whose schemes to avoid labor extended even to marrying a strong-willed woman with a capable son.
