Synopsis

A surge of domestic disorder accompanied the prolonged confinement. James, striving valiantly to manage household duties and children alike, received dutiful praise from Siegfried and Tristan—and offered no assistance. Tristan, in particular, provoked the ire of Mr. Bushy, a formidable farmer, through a series of transgressions: favoring a canine companion over Busby's cow, lingering in bed, and culminating in the unfortunate substitution of a bull for Busby’s dog.
