To distract herself from the looming SATs, Lori took Jennifer miniature golfing. It was a small act of kindness, a way to offer respite from the pressure. Lori had a knack for bringing people together; it wasn't surprising, then, that she found herself playing matchmaker when Jennifer hired a handsome handyman.
