Synopsis

At Izakaya “Umi,” Akane’s apprenticeship centered around mastering the subtle art of attentiveness. Next, Kyoji brought her along to a performance at a retirement home, where Rakugo storytelling was the afternoon's entertainment. Keen to ensure the elderly audience found pleasure in the show, Akane demonstrated what she had learned, taking to the stage herself. Afterward, Kyoji followed, intent on showcasing the poise and gravitas expected of a senior apprentice.
