Synopsis

The scent of ozone and scorched earth hung heavy as Tatsumi and Esdeath worked in tandem, clearing a path through the monstrous Danger Beasts. A flicker of surprise crossed Esdeath’s face – an unexpected encounter. Tatsumi, caught off guard, felt a sudden rush of emotion. Lost in the warmth of their reunion, Esdeath nonetheless registered a presence in the periphery: a figure concealed within the shadows, watching them both.
