Synopsis

St. John trailed Jo in a biplane as she tested a new navigation system during a flight over a vast, untamed region. Suddenly, a laser beam shot up from the ground, striking her helicopter and sending it plummeting to earth. St. John’s plane was also hit, but he managed to bring it down safely in the nearby town of Santa Mira before losing consciousness. He awoke the following day in the local hospital, frustrated by the disbelief surrounding his account, and determined to find Jo. But upon reach
