This series demonstrates an exceptional ability to squander viewers' time. Very little progress is made throughout its run, and there’s essentially no development for the characters. Unexplained pauses occur during conversations between people, seemingly just to extend the length of the episodes. The personalities are uninteresting and lack any meaningful progression; when arcs do appear, they often don’t make sense. Numerous illogical events unfold from the very beginning through the finale. For example, why would robots announce their self-destruct sequences before allowing Ahsoka to flee? Why does the self-destruction process take so long? Wouldn't an immediate explosion have resulted in Ahsoka's death and a quicker resolution? How did Sabine manage to survive being stabbed by a lightsaber? What are Baylon Skol’s intentions? And why is there a seemingly random map leading to Thrawn located on another arbitrary planet? These questions, among many others, arise during the show and remain unresolved. I seriously question whether they will ever be addressed in a future season. Dave, with all due respect, you haven't rescued Star Wars; instead, you’ve highlighted just how stagnant it has become since Disney acquired the franchise. Please consider taking some writing courses because your scripts are disappointing. Improve your work. 3/10
