Growing up, I really enjoyed Nick at Nite; its gentle black-and-white imagery made nighttime trips to the bathroom feel secure. Even now, in 2022, it’s MeTV that holds my attention—contemporary television just isn't very good, but the programs my father watched during his childhood have aged remarkably well. I remember seeing this one on Nick at Nite, and I appreciated every detail, even the glasses without lenses. It looks incredibly low-budget, yet it’s also a lot of fun. As a child, you don't really notice how inexpensive something is.
