It’s clear this program is striving for a level of sophistication it simply can’t attain. The performers represent a wide range of backgrounds, yet the dialogue itself feels incredibly ordinary and dull. There's nothing particularly amusing about it, but predictably, it seems designed to appeal to as many viewers as possible—so another season is almost guaranteed, even though I doubt many people are actually tuning in.
