Synopsis

Deep within the Panama Canal's history lies a story of ambition: Theodore Roosevelt's endeavor to carve out a nation from the earth. And alongside this, a lesser-known struggle unfolded – a man’s tireless fight to ensure sustenance didn't become a source of death, all against the backdrop of the Spanish Flu pandemic, which tragically claimed more American lives than the entirety of the twentieth century's wars.
