Synopsis

Driven by ambition, Jack attempts to capture a lecture on Thoreau’s transcendentalism, hoping it will serve as an entry point to the University of Wisconsin’s philosophy department. The project proves elusive; frustration mounts as he struggles to complete the recording. Exhausted, he dozes off, and his slumber descends into a landscape of unsettling dreams.
