Synopsis

In a desperate act of retribution for a slain Roman soldier, Pilate ordered a multitude to be crucified. Meanwhile, Caiaphas's efforts to secure the conviction of Peter and John proved fruitless. Yet, the nascent church continued to expand, drawing in individuals whose motives were far from virtuous, and who were subsequently chastised by the Holy Spirit.
