Synopsis

While pursuing Oriana, Toma and his companions encounter a troubling phenomenon: a "Shorthand"—a self-executing spell—is disrupting their own abilities. The spell's effects are immediate and unwelcome, but before they can find a way to counteract it, an unforeseen event unfolds at the middle school.
