Synopsis

The one who betrayed them, the source of the information given to Fango and the would-be assassin of Nero, is now known. The Vanetti family is in turmoil with Corteo in custody, yet he maintains his silence, a defiance that all but seals his fate. Avilio, though he hides it, is deeply affected by this stubborn denial.
