Synopsis

It is often argued that pursuing love from someone who does not reciprocate is a more arduous path, demanding constant effort in the uncertain hope of a worthwhile reward. Conversely, accepting the affection of someone who cherishes you requires less exertion and offers greater ease. The sole consequence is a diminished intensity of desire. The woman finds herself at a difficult juncture, compelled to choose between the object of her affection and the source of it.
