Synopsis

From the earliest days of humankind, stories of monstrous beings dwelling in the darkness have stirred both wonder and dread. We now tend to consign these narratives to the realm of myth and legend, yet might we be dismissing a chilling possibility? With scientists identifying some eighteen thousand new animal species annually, is it not plausible that creatures of flesh and blood could exist, hidden within our world?
